
Yesterday's post of Henry's tiny headstone would have you believe he was buried in a potter's field. As you can see, Henry was buried in the family plot with a large family headstone and small very plain individual one's for mother, father and each of their four children. I wonder however, if the large headstone was added much later as it looks somewhat modern compared to others from the same time period. Sadly, the large number of visitors to the site have worn away any grass and have left a rather severe landscape.

That is interesting, the way the grass has been trampled. I wonder if the original gravestone was vandalized. And I'm very surprised the area isn't fenced off so that people can't just walk about...
A simple grave stone for a man who found beauty in the simple things of life.
