While the children are enjoying midsummer in Walden Pond, this tree seems to think it is early fall and is beginning to change color.

That's a bit early. Did you go down to the water?
Steffe, I'm hoping to swim across it this week or next. There are large numbers of people who do it every day.
Sure seems like Fall will be early this year.
How beautiful! It's funny, but all my life I've heard about Walden Pond but didn't realize it was such a wonderful and useful place!

If Thoreau could see it now. I'm sure he'd still think it lovely. The little tot in the water is so cute.
The leaves are turning already! But we haven;t had summer yet...at least here in Ontario!
