Midsummer at Codman Community Garden

The garden has certainly changed since I first introduced you to it back in May, both here and here and mistakenly called it Lincoln Community Garden. Even though they are not visible in this picture, there are many plots bursting with vegetables and tomatoes about to turn red. Hope they pick them before the groundhogs do.

Still think it is a great idea. Would like to see the idea spread into urban areas.

Beauty to behold. And even better with so many veggie plots. I like the little Zen rock stack - they have a name.
PS - Mammoth/Mono area is really beautiful, and relatively uncrowded esp. outside the town and not on a festival weekend. Worth a trip back to California.

Those darn groundhogs! But what a wonderful garden! Can anyone in town stake out a plot there? Great fun! And good eating!

This community garden looks well tended. There are a number of gardens like this around here too and also in Toronto. Nice idea.

I really envy these plots, something like this is just unthinkable here.

Vogen I always think of Italy being filled with gardens and fresh produce. Is it because you are in a large city?
