If you live in the eastern part of North America, you know full well the invasive nature of the beautiful purple loosestrife that chokes the water ways and wetlands. Well, meet its cousin. This rather curious looking flower is also quite invasive, sending out countless roots choking out my perennial garden. I caution you not to buy this plant for your garden. I have to admit though, that when hundreds of them are blooming, they do look like a gaggle of geese.
