No, you are not seeing double, but, is he a regular in the British Army or a Colonist?
At last year's march from Sudbury to Concord, I took a photo of a ponytail on a man portraying a colonist. A few days before this year's event I looked at the photo again and wondered if that pony tail was real or not. Much to my suprise, on Saturday in Concord, I saw that same ponytail but this time it was on a British Soldier. I mustered my courage and asked this man if he was not on the other side last year. That's how I met Bryon. He laughed and told me he would see me again tomorrow in Sudbury wearing his blue outfit. This is Bryon's 43rd year being involved with the American Revolution reenactment. Not only that, he is a 3rd generation reenactor. If you watch New England Patriots football or New England Revolution soccer at Gillette Stadium, you will see Bryon and fellow militia men who are members of the End Zone Militia and in my opinion are more interesting than the cheerleaders. By the way, Bryon does have a day job and he assured me that the ponytail is real.

Wow, three generations, that's great! This is a fun post but at the same time very interesting.
This may be the origin of the expression, "Turncoat."
Haha, this is a great story!
First of all, your photos are superb. Secondly, this is a great story...and very funny. Thanks!
That's so fun! I love his pose as a Colonist. Seems to suit him better. :)
