Near the Old North Bridge is a field of blooming Scilla, also known as Siberian Squill. I remember the first time I rode by this field on my bike, it took my breath away.
Featuring Sudbury, Massachusetts and its neighboring towns located west of Boston, distinctly different but steeped in a common history.

Gorgeous!
I can see why it took your breath away. I'll have to be careful if I ever get up there as I'll probably fall off my bike!
Beautiful scene.
Ironically Jacob, there is a bridge right next to this field which has a very low hand rail. For some reason, I keep thinking that one day I will fall head over heal into the river from my bike. I keep telling my family if I don't return from a bike ride that they should check there first.
This photo took my breath away also!!
