Pennant Fever

As you can see, we had great seats for the final game of the American League Division Series between the Angels and the Red Sox. I wanted to share a few of the action shots I was able to capture. Here Vladimir Guerrero of the Angels connects with the ball.

Out number three as Sox pitcher Papelbon throws to first baseman Youklis to pick off an Angels player trying to steal second. Glad to see the ump was on the job, otherwise I would have had to provide the photo finish.

You must know someone or have something on someone or have one heck of a good zoom lens...

Super shots!

Thanks for the kudos everyone. I've never enjoyed live baseball so much as when I was able to take my camera along. So many things to look at and try to capture. The sports button on the camera is terrific for action shots. My telephoto is from the kit, nothing special.
