I took this photo over the weekend. Since then, the rain and wind have been robbing us of color. This tree could be completely bare today, so I'm holding on to the memory as long as possible.
Featuring Sudbury, Massachusetts and its neighboring towns located west of Boston, distinctly different but steeped in a common history.

So beautiful.
The majesty always seems to end so abruptly.
It is so wonderful when you catch the light just right; and you sure did here! Beautiful golden glow against that blue sky...
Winter cometh and winter goeth...hang on the "goeth" part!
Very lovely light through the trees. Yep the wind and rain are taking away all out leaves too. But I look forward to the beauty of the branches when they are lined with snow. Yep, I'm not kidding. I think winter is beautiful.
Congratulations on taking this superb photo. The luminescence of the leaves is hard to capture so well. It is PERFECT here.
