St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church in Sudbury offered a change in architecture from the typical New England Church when it was renovated in 2005. I rather like its chalet like appearance.
Sudbury has a total of 11 churches and synagogues.
Featuring Sudbury, Massachusetts and its neighboring towns located west of Boston, distinctly different but steeped in a common history.

A very elegant and modern church, I like the sunken location behind the knoll.
I never would have guessed it was in Sudbury.
I like this too. The "chalet" symbolizes a ship to carry the people through the vicissitudes of life...
I see it has reddish doors, too! More or less.
Nice photo, Antjas!
Is 11 churches considered a brunch for Sudbury?
CP, Sudbury's population is around 17,000, so maybe 11 is a good number. 6 protestant, 2 catholic, 3 jewish, no mega-churches.
By the way, thanks for your input, we chose the jazz brunch at red, white and bluezz. I'll let you know how it goes.
Jacob, Is that really what it symbolizes? I thought the architect was maybe from Switzerland.
Yes. The nave of most "liturgical" churches is built to symbolize a ship carrying the faithful to the promised land...
