This home recently popped up across the street from the high school. Other than the fact that it has clapboard siding (pronounced claberd in these parts) it doesn't look like your typical N.E. colonial. I do like a lot of its architectural features such as the barn-like 3 car garage which you can't see from the street, and the 2 pane over 2 pane windows. A lot of colonials, including mine, have 12 teeny panes over 12 teeny panes of glass, making a total of 24 panes for one window which makes for a real pain in the neck when you go to wash your windows and a real expense when you have to recaulk and repaint them. It also has a little bit of a front porch which colonials do not have.
This 5,000 sq. foot, 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home on almost an acre of land can be yours today for only $1.5 million.

That may be a bargain when we factor in the cost of a window washer or the value of our time.
Think how fast you could finish those windows. NH
Actually, that probably isn't all that bad a price if you want a really big house that's incredibly hard to clean, heat and cool!
It looks like that barn is an RV barn...so when they get tired of rumbling around in the house, they can hop in their RV and tour the country!
Nice photo!
It's nice looking enough. But what do people do with all that space? And the price - unfortunately, it's all too believable.
