Grapes

As I ride my bike, the late summer air is heavy with the scent of ripening grapes. Perhaps Concord grapes.

This is stunning, Antjas! Are there places where you can pick your own? We used to do that in Phoenix: 1960-64. They were 10 cents a bag already picked or 5 cents a bag if you picked them yourself. Big bags. We usually got sick from eating so many grapes. Oh, but they were sooooo good!

Jacob, I don't think you can buy anything anymore for 10 cents a bag can you? Locally we have pick your own apples, blueberries, and raspberries but I have not seen a grapes. This was taken at a private arbor on a back road. But, there are so many wild grapes growing along stone walls by the roadside. I've never stopped to pick them myself.

No, I'm sure not! That was 45 years ago! I wonder if those wild grapes are any good?

The perspective and light in this photo is fantastic!

About George Clinton at the Crystal Ballroom, you're right. The joint was hoppin'--right down to the suspended dance floor!
