Colonial Faire & Muster of Fyfe and Drums

Drummers

Muster is an old Middle English word meaning "a cause to gather". This weekend's muster was hosted by the Sudbury Companies of Militia and Minute and the Sudbury Ancient Fyfe and Drum Companie on the grounds of the Wayside Inn. This crisp fall day was filled with the sights and sounds of New England's finest Fyfe and Drum Corps. The group in this set of photos is called the Kentish Guards R.I.M. from East Greenwich, Rhode Island.

Looks like a most fun event on a most perfect fall day. Wish I could have joined you. NEXT YEAR! NH

Wonderful series. You New Englanders do like the historical replays...but then you're saturated with history...

I'm a bit jealous.

This looks so such fun. And great weather, too.
