Inedible by humans as far as I know, but the birds will soon be gorging themselves. Thanks to the birds I will find dogwood seedlings in my yard next spring.
the 1st one looks a bit like rosehip (ever had rosehip jam? Moja baka je to pravila. Very tedious work - got to pick out all the little hairs in the middle. But it was delicious.) The 2nd is so cute with the spots. Lovely autumn shots.
Tash, how funny you should mention rosehips because that is what they reminded me of as well. I absolutely love Rose Hip jam but it is so hard to find here in the states. We often bought it in Canada but never did we make it. Sounds like a lot of work.

I can see the two different kinds of fruit...and I can see fall in the air...
I don't know dogwood from cat litter but are these edible (by humans?)...
Hope you have a great weekend!
