The chimney tells us this farmhouse was built in 1715, one of Sudbury's oldest homes. Try to get your mind around the fact that it was around 60 years before the American Revolution!
By the way, this home is for sale for $350,000. Anyone in the market for an antique with a satellite dish?

I bet the doorways are narrow and the ceilings are low. Unless it had some extensive renovation over the years, it would be better served as a museum piece. I bet the reception is good, however.
For the U.S., that is a very old house! A bit pricey for me, though...I would guess it's been "restored" numerous times.
Do chimneys ever lie? ;-)
I would be willing to bet that this house needs a ton of TLC. That just seems like a low price for a Sudbury property.
Chimney's can lie, but I really think part of this house was here since 1715, maybe just the chimney. I'm sure it needs a lot of TLC. But then again, the price is not too far off of what an acre of land used to go for around here before the real estate bubble burst.
Difficult to find something of this age on the market here. Surviving building aren't normal houses but palaes.
It so strange to see an affordable piece of history on sale...
