Hepatica

This hepatica is in my backyard. It came from my parents' farm.

This is the day we plucked it out of the woods one mid-April over ten years ago. It is in the bucket my mother is carrying.

Lovely post! I don't think I know hepatica, it's a very pretty little flower!

We have some plants of similar age. It lends something to the yard and my spirit every time I look at them.

That's exciting when something you transplanted takes off and grows. These are very pretty flowers! Say "hi" to Mom!

How lovely to have the connection thru the beautiful flower. I've never seen it before. So nice to have a photo of your mom from that day.
