Grounds Crew

Part of the fun of going to a ball game is watching the grounds crew prepare the field.

I had just sneaked out for a hog dog with onions and relish, a must at a ball game, when I found the boys just hanging out. They didn't appear to be interested in the game at all. Between innings they are back on stage when they go into action in what appears to be an orchestrated ballet of raking up the infield.

Nice look at the boys working. I have never been to a ball game so I wouldn't know. I think it costs too much money here to attend a Cincinnati Reds game.

I always thought there was a pretty good show outside The Fenway, too.

You must have your camera set on "vivid," 'cause these colors are wild and lovely!

Great shots!

Back east are the people still having to get their gas from Gulf?

Abe-I've never paid to go to a game. It mortifies me to even pay $6 for a hot dog, but I just have to have one.
B Squared - there still is quite a show outside.
Jacob - I was using my son's point and shoot so I had no control over what happened. I didn't know I would be allowed to take a camera inside, but now I know I could have. We were near the press box and I had major lens envy.
Cafe Observer - I guess Gulf is owned by Chevron. What I do know is that we don't have Unocal.

You're right about Baseball being in the air this weekend. Great shots at Fenway, but actually, I really like Pawtucket better. It's a more intimate, family friendly park and great seats only cost $10 and $2 to park.

How funny! I had no idea... I guess it's all about keeping people entertained.
