I had driven half a mile past this artist before my CDP alter ego forced me to turn the car around and take a picture. He was painting one of my favorite vistas so I just had to stop. He was kind enough to allow me to take a picture of his work. He was a little disappointed that he had lost the light and the shadows it had cast two hours earlier. I love the way he cleans his brushes - take a close look at his pants! We said our goodbyes and hoped our paths would cross again in the coming months.

That's so funny! I have done the same thing - drive past something or someone, then u-turned and scurried back to get a photo.
This is a goodie, too. I love to watch artists at work. Wonder if he's married. If so, he probably has to wash his own pants.
Nice.
Now we need the other side of the canvas: shutterladybug @ work!
I'm so proud of you and your alter ego! Something about him reminds me of my grandfather.
LOL @ Jacob! This photograph is one of the most enjoyable I have seen in quite a while. I just love the kitchen roll! ;-)
Jacob and Cieldequimper, I don't know why he bothers with the roll of paper towels since he's obviously using his pants and jacket to wipe up spills. Thanks for your comments.
Cafe Pasadena, Thanks for stopping by. I've actually been thinking how I can go incognito and make an appearance in a picture. I have a couple of ideas.
Rachel, I actually thought it might have been your uncle.
Antjas, thanks for your questions. I left my best answer to your comment on my website.
A great shot - artist at work of an artist at work :)! His painting is really nice.
Isn't it funny about that CDP alter ego taking over. My family gets a bit annoyed with it at times.
He choose a god day to paint a picture of this beautiful scene.
