Dick(74) and Rick(52) Hoyt, the father and son team whose love knows no bounds and who have inspired generations. Their days of competition after 37 years have come to an end as they announce that this was their last Boston Marathon together.
There is talk of Rick continuing with a new partner.

yes, they are so amazing! i read all about them on wikipedia.
and wasnt it last year, or the year before they got a statue? i wanted to visit, but we never did. time is always running so fast!!
